|

Hi,
Has anyone got this TFT-screen to work in linux? I thinking about buying one (4ms and _really_ nice design but it has only 1 button (Power On/Off). Se picture: http://www.samsung.com/se/products/monitors/tft19/productpresentation/960bf_imageview.asp?img=4
All other settings (brightness, contrast etc) are set via an application called MagicTune that (of course) is only availible for Windows.
Does anyone have any experince in getting this monitor to work in an linux environment? I know there is a tool called Ddccontrol that may work, it does not offically support this monitor though.
Edit: I managed to get in touch with one of the developers for ddccontrol. He was kind enough to include support for this monitor in his tool. Ddccontrol now has full support for this monitor!
Best regards,
Daniel

Cool, thank you
I was having the very same problème, having bought the Samsung 960BF without checking that kind of thing.
Now, I only have to write some scripts to setup the parameters at boot _________________ Antoine Boegli |
