Bonjour,
j'ai un probleme lorsque je charge mes modules OSS, je m''explique,voulant jouer ,je dois,apparament,installer OSS car je ne tournais que sur ALSA,donc j'ai compilé les modules en dur nécessaires dans le noyau,et lors du chargement de mes modules,j'ai l'erreur suivant :

bon ce qui nous aide pas beaucoup.J'ai lu les differents post sur le forum en changeant de technique d'installation,mais l'erreur est redondante,donc j'espere que quelqu'un pourra m'aider |

Suis pas sûr d'avoir bien compris : si les "modules" sont compilés "en dur", ils font partie intégrante du noyau et il n'y a donc pas lieu de les charger ...
Question terminologie, "module" signifie précisément que le driver n'est pas compilé en dur !

Pour dissiper tout malentendu : tu parles bien du support OSS dans ALSA et pas des drivers OSS purs ? (ces derniers sont obsolètes !)

en effet,je me suis tres mal exprimé,j'ai essayé de charger OSS,soit en le mettant en dur dans le noyau,soit en tant que modules,mais dans les deux cas,j'ai la meme erreur.

Normalement il suffirait d'utiliser le module alsa-oss pour arriver a ton but.
Par contre tes messages semblent indiquer que tu n'as pas compilé ton noyau avec le même compilateur que les modules, ou alors carrément des modules de versions qui ne correspondent pas avec celle de ton module snd_intel8x0.

Ce genre d'erreur survient souvent lorsqu'on tente de charger un driver compilé pour un noyau qui n'est pas celui en cours d'exécution.
Pourrais-tu décrire exactement ta technique d'installation ?
Il me semble aussi que tu te compliques inutilement la vie en utilisant le package alsa-driver plutôt que l'implémentation fournie avec le noyau !
A mon avis, les bénéfices sont relativement minces en regard des contraintes que cela impose :
- Bénéfice : disposer de la toute dernière version (correction éventuelle de bugs)
- Contrainte : il faut penser à recompiler alsa-driver après chaque modif du noyau (alors qu'avec les drivers du noyau, c'est automatique !) |

Il est en effet beaucoup plus simple d'utiliser les drivers du noyau, c'est beaucoup plus simple à maintenir.
Je te conseille aussi fortement la lecture du guide Alsa pour Gentoo Linux.

alors ma technique d'installation est simple : j'ai tout simplement pas utilisé les drivers du noyau,j'ai emerge alsa-driver,alsa-utils,et alsa-oss
ensuite j'ai fait un alsaconf et voila le tour était joué. J'ai decidé d'install les drivers via emerge car j'avé un probleme pour le "multisound",je n'arrivait pas a avoir 2 sons differents en meme temps,via cette methode d'installation et suite a la lecture des post de personnes ayant eu le meme probeleme,'jy arrive maintenant. |
