Hi all...
I tried to install nvidia-glx, all done correctly, install successfully, glx up and running etc etc...
But when I reboot =/
X server cant start and returns:
| Code: | | "Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module!" |
The only way to go back to X is unmerging and remerging nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx...
I don't know what this could be!

| When you reboot, check lsmod. nvidia should be listed under Module. If not try If that works, add nvidia to /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 if you are running a 2.6 kernel, otherwise add it to 2.4 if you're running 2.4. Then reboot and do an lsmod and see if nvidia is listed. |
