I am geting the following error when trying to emerge the 2.6.15-r1 gentoo-sources on my new instal

Tried it on my working system and got the same result. _________________ Someone asked me once if I suffered from mental illness. I told him I enjoyed every second of it.

Known bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113261. But no solution given.
You could try to emerge an earlier version like gentoo-sources-2.6.14-r5 with emerge =sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.14-r5 _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered

I ended up with the same problem when trying to emerge 2.6.14-r5 on my re-install.
What I ended up doing is emerge it on my desktop then copy the source folder to the new install. The kernel compiled without any issue. I'm going to finish the install and see if I havev any of the other issues reported in that bug. _________________ Someone asked me once if I suffered from mental illness.
