|
|
Hi:
My problem is that when I am trying to copy from my machine to the usb memory the speed is really low (50 kb) so i takes hours to complete, but when i am copying or moving files from the usb memory key to my machine the speed is 8 MB so there is a really big difference. I already compiled in the kernel USB MASS STORAGE module, also i dont have the low performance usb module, i have the scsi support and still see no difference.
Also another problem is that if i mount then umount and eject it, the second time i plug it, my machine doesn´t recognize it so i can´t use it more than once. My problem is only with the memory keys or flash drives because i have and external USB hard disk, and this one i can mount and eject the times i want.
Thanks _________________ The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him.

Could it be related to the mount with sync option, like here:
