Resolved...emerge syslog-ng

Okay yesterday I posted a problem with emerge coldplug< maybe some of you saw it>. While waiting for responses I decided to change the way I compiled the kernel. The problem i had yesterday with emerge coldplug occured while compiling the kernel automatically with the command genkernel all
.


This time I compiled the kernel using make menuconfig enabling what i thought I needde for my system to work now and what i think I would need for the future. Following make menuconfig I saved the changes, and ran make && make modules_install, Which was the actual compiling process.
So far everything appeared to be fine until I get to Section 9. <Installing necessary System Tools> Under System Logger I need to emerge syslog-ng
Then I get the following message.
Also below the message I will provide the info from emerge--info if that helps anyone help me.

The error message you posted is really not very useful... Could you paste some of the error messages above the stuff you posted?

What you've posted isn't an error message, that's the status message. We need about 20 or more lines of the compile output to see what went wrong.
