Hi, i have a problem with my cedega and wine. Im trying to run Warcraft 3 but it crashes every time. I had an `error 21` but i repaired it, now i have other problem:

Quote:
ojejq@ojejq ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Warcraft III $ cedega War3.exe
tid 19960 received signal 2. Raising signal 3
/usr/bin/cedega: line 348: 19960 Wyjście $SHELL -c "$RUNWINE $WINVER -debugmsg $DEBUGMSG -use-dos-cwd $WORKDIR $EJECT $DT -- $COMMAND_LINE"

I dont know what this error mean, someone knows ? ;]

have you tried following this tutorial at the wine site:

http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=1177

also -- please note their reccomendation at the top:
Quote:
Recommendation: remove movies folder and play using OpenGL mode for best stability.

Hm... I removed folder `Movies` but that does nothing... I dont know how to use opengl mode, and... On this site is written that Warcraft was tested on 20050930 version of wine... How to emerge this version ?

it looks like that version of wine has been masked in portage -- meaning that it is probably not very stable, but if you are just using it for warcraft, we might as well give it a try.

Code:
vi /etc/portage/package.keywords

and then insert
Code:
=app-emulation/wine-20050930 -*

from there then execute as root
Code:
emerge =app-emulation/wine-20050930

from the way i understand the documentation, every time you install a new version, you should reinstall the software package... not sure why, but that was the impression i got from the docs... have you tried that yet?
