Je cherche un logiciel qui puisse faire en quelques sortes un compte a rebour graphique sous Linux ...

Hello, une petite recherche sur "countdown" sur freshmeat donne des resultats intéressants, tu y trouveras peut-être ton bonheur:

Sinon, tu peux toujours bricoler un petit script en bash, et utiliser osd_cat ou xmessage pour l'affichage par exemple.
