I can't start any session and I get this error

The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:

Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server
(EE) Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap

waiting for X server to shut down

Couldnt get a file descriptor referring to the console

How I resolve this problem?

I ran into a similar problem using modular X and the ati-drivers. The fix for me was editing the modules path in xorg.conf to:

ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"


Also, the rgb was wrong also, I had to change it to:

# The location of the RGB database.  Note, this is the name of the
# file minus the extension (like ".txt" or ".db").  There is normally
# no need to change the default.

    RgbPath   "/usr/share/X11/rgb"

Seems like you don't have any space left on /var/tmp...
