Hi everyone I have a problem with DCOP server

I got this error when i try to start the kde session with
Code:
startkde


Code:
DCOPServer self-test failed
kdeinit: DCOPServer could not be started, aborting.
Could not register with DCOPServer. Aborting.
startkde: Shutting down...
Warning: connect() failed:  : Connection refused
Error: Can't contact kdeinit!
startkde: Running shutdown scripts...
startkde: Done.

waiting for X server to shut down


I�ve emerged all DCOP servers
but i still having the same problem.

Also i can just run a kde session if i start a Xsession with
Code:
startx


then i can run a Xsession with my nvidia drivers, everything looks fine and also if I open a xterm i can run a

Code:
startkde


then i can run it inside my Xsession a kde session and work with it but i can see the windows in green :( :(

i just want to run startkde whith no problems

Please any help! :o :o

echo "exec startkde" > ~/.xinitrc

Then startx will start kde after X. If you want a graphical login check the relevant paragraph in the KDE guide.

For the windows color try to set a DefaultDepth of 16 or 24 in the Screen section of xorg.conf file

Now i´m unmerging and cleaning everything to start again,
then i will

emerge xorg-x11


& then

emerge kdebase


let´s see if i have the same problem again

if i have it i will try it!

There is any way to work without doing it anytime i start the computer?

If i want to run kde i have to

Do i have to edit the xinitrc?
