Is there a script or tool or something that can move all of my local use flags to/from make.conf and package.use? It would be good (in my mind) to have make.conf as simple as possible, so having something that can automagically create the package.use entries (only for packages I have installed) and then remove them from my make.conf would be excellent.
Does anyone know of something that could do this? _________________ My emerge --info
Have you run revdep-rebuild lately? It's in gentoolkit and it's worth a shot if things don't work well.

Hi.
I find such a tool in the gentoolkit package, rencently. The name is 'euse'. It lets you manage /etc/make.conf, but not /etc/portage/
I can't tell you if it exists since many time, but it's in the stable version of gentoolkit |

Its interesting but doesn't actually create the package.use entries. That's more what I'm looking for. _________________ My emerge --info
