Hi,

I downloaded the cedega-small.tgz from the transgaming site, copied it to the distfile dir and emerged the cedega ebuild.

Now, when I invoke it either as root or user I get the Licence agreement shown and when I click the OK button it hangs.

The console shows only

Code:
tail: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed in the future
tail: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed in the future

When I kill it in the console with Ctrl-C I get this output

Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/Point2Play_gui.py", line 2531, in ?
    Point2Play_gui_ref = Point2Play_gui( Point2Play.Point2Play( config_file, alternate_configs ) )
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/Point2Play_gui.py", line 421, in __init__
    self.setup_menu_and_toolbar()

    self.run_wizard()
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/Point2Play_gui.py", line 660, in run_wizard
    setup_wizard = setup_wizard_gui.SetupWizardDialog(self.Point2Play)
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/setup_wizard_gui.py", line 54, in __init__
    self.set_defaults()
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/setup_wizard_gui.py", line 99, in set_defaults
    self.detect_system_info()
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/setup_wizard_gui.py", line 112, in detect_system_info
    system_info = system_detection.make_detected_system_info_dictionary()
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/system_detection.py", line 247, in make_detected_system_info_dictionary
    system_info = {
  File "/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega/system_detection.py", line 82, in detect_videocard_manufacturer
    videocard_manufacturer = pipeFile.readline()
KeyboardInterrupt

I'm really lost and have no idea what to do.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Cay

EDIT:
OK, it appears cedega wasn't able to detect my video card properly because of an incompatibility of 'ati-drivers' and 'radeonfb'. I tried it without the frambuffer and it works.
