Bon, suis a un downgrade de xorg7 vers xorg6 et une serie de manipulation plus ou moins douteuses (redimentionnement de /tmp, puis de /var) mon clavier, quadn je suis sous X ne marche pas, quelque soit la touche sur laquelle j'appuie, il me change la resolution, c'est tout...

je pense qu'une solution se trouve dans le [HOWTO] Migration vers X modulaire
à savoir:

avant de relancer startx, ça devrait le faire (si c'est pas le cas, je sais pas trop).

je l'avait mis dans /etc/env.d/00basic quand j'avait utiliser Modular X, je viens de l'enlever, a tout hasard, mais je crois que cela ne change rien
Edit : oulah, ca marche vachement mieux sans... bon, et bien, un autre probleme de resolu  |

arf, autant pour moi, j'avais trop lu en diagonale et j'avais pas noté le downgrade xorg-7 -> 6.
Mais la solution doit être du côté de XKeysymDB, il ne serait pas en double sur ton système?
Tu n'aurais pas quelques résidus de xorg-7.0 qui trainent?? (genre x11-libs/libX11)
Une autre piste c'est: comment à tu réinstallé xorg-6.8 ?? tu l'as réemergé ou bien tu as utilisé l'archive (comme conseillé dans le howto)?
Si tu a utilisé l'archive, peut-être que le fameux "XKeysymDB" n'a pas été inclu ou qu'il n'est pas à la même place.
Bref, toutes ces questions pour dire que je sais pas trop en penser sinon que xorg-7.0 va bientôt passer en ~arch et qu'il y a de moins en moins de problèmes avec... Alors je sais pas ce qui motive ton downgrade mais je pense que t'as plus de chances de faire marcher xorg-7.0 correctement que de réussir à résoudre ce problème.

héhé... pour le downgrade, c'est une bonne question, je sais pas tro ppourquoi j'ai fait ca... boarf, c'est pas si grave...
Par contre, a faire, c'est assez infect, il faut unmerge xorg7 et tout ce que l'on peut, jusqu'a pourvoir installer xorg6.x (j'ai pas repris mon archive binaire, mais j'aurait pu) et ensuite, continuer d'essayer de voir les paquets jusqu'a enfin ne plus rien y avoir (a grand coup de -t) |
