Just installed KDE 3.5.0

If I start to play video files and make Noatun window closed, the sound still play...
As I see artsd daemon is working, so I need to kill it to stop the sound.

What could be wrong here?

The second problem related to Noatun - I can't see it's window - only the movie's window.
I have tried to find any options to turn it on, but have found nothing...

Hm. It seems that I have found the reason.

It was the system tray where Noatun gone.

But the problem is still here. I don't need any such crazy things like
system tray. How to remove it completely from KDE?

I just looking for the option in Noatun to switch moving to system tray off,
but have found nothing....

Do you really all think that that is normal behaviour?

Linus said, that in KDE I can adjust all things, which I can't under Gnome.

But under Gnome it works fine without any adjustments
and here it seems not possible to remove unusable feature?

Am I right? Or there is still any solution?

P.S. I was almost happy with KDE...

Check under the individual settings for each program. Many of them allow you to turn that feature off.

For example, in Noatun, check Configure Noatun > Plugins > Other Plugins and uncheck Young Hickory.

I'm using KDE 3.4.3 but I can't imagine it's too different in 3.5.0 if it's even different at all.
