Just added a non-root user, made the user a member of the audio group. I get the following artsmessage on KDE coming up:

/tmp/mcop-dave is not owned by user

Any ideas???

Code:

ls -l /tmp/mcop-username
if not owned by you:
chown dbtrol /tmp/mcop-username

Will give it a shot.
