Are you using the latest versions of the superkaramba themes?

That may be because there were many patches to SK in 3.5.1. I notice that now it doesn't let you position a theme so that part of it is off the screen. Maybe those themes are larger than they look?

With XComposite and Kompmgr enabled they also have dropshadows and transparency changes on mouseover like my other windows. Not to mention rearranging their position randomly on every logout.

It's gotten so frustrating that I've just decided to dump SK until the next point release. I wonder how changes of this magnitude got into a release with so little testing.

I have also noticed that the themes are moving around after a reboot.
I can't use SK for anything in the current state, so I will stop using it too, and hope for a fix in the next release...

I haven't noticed any issues with SK in this kde release. My themes stay put when I lock their position.

hmmm, is it possible there is a difference between kde-base/superkaramba, and x11-misc/superkaramba? I can see there is a difference in the filesizes, the kde-base version is more than 1 MB larger.

which version are you using?

I unmerged it, and emerged the x11-misc version, and that one works perfectly

I've noticed this too and had to adjust the widget size (invisible border) a little on one theme. It seems to be correct so if your panel changes size (which is possible) your widget won't get covered up.
