gnome failsafe probleme ?

When I login into gnome I get this message

This is the failsafe Gnome session you will be logged into the Default session of Gnome with no startup scripts run this is only to be fix in your installation

How can I fix this error message ?
Also when I change the background color of my panel and relogin the color is changed to black allways
