hey all, i have a bunch of mp3's all @ different volumes. Q. how do i make all the mp3's have the same volume? and while i'm at it how do i convert mp3's/wma's to cda?

can barely believe it. ran 'normalize /home/music/* and it did it all. i didn't even read the man, just guessed the command. fantastic. sid vicious's 'my way' never sounded better.

lazy? lol, i don't think anyone running gentoo can be lazy. i love it but it is high maintenance. rudeness is worse than laziness anyhow we certainly do live in an acerbic world. however, i do appreciate the info you supplied. thx
