Since the forums are having some problems, how about some mirrors? I'd gladly mirror them.

You know not what you ask for.

These forums typically take up 2-3GB of traffic per day and are growing very rapidly. That's a lot of 1's and 0's to shove into a pipe and it's pretty hard to find someone with enough bandwidth to accomodate that kind of traffic.

As for the problems we've been having, we ran into a spat of bad luck and bad timing. Bad RAM caused the problems over the weekend, then right after they came back up, we had to take them down again for an expected, scheduled move over to a new datacenter. That resulted in the forums being down for a better part of two days.

That said, we're *hopeful* that the problems are past us now.
