Ciao a tutti
Sto provando a compilare E17 da CVS seguendo la guida sul wiki , tutto funzia fino ad Emotion che a quanto pare dipende da Xinelib o da gstreamer....
se compillo con l'opzione gstreamer , emotion termina con:

Strano visto che gstreamer e' installato in versione 0.8 compresi plugins....
Ora, volevo chiedere una cosa , io ho installato xinelib e xineui da cvs per funzionare con VDR e xine plugin , quindi per portage xinelib non e' installato.....come potrei risolvere questo problema?
Posso exportare il path dove e' installato xine e poi fare l' emerge di emotion o esiste un altro modo per dire a portage che xine e' installato ma "a mano" e non con emerge???
Sono un po' confuso.... 
Questo e' il path di xine :
root@gentoo:[~]# whereis xine
xine: /usr/local/bin/xine /usr/local/lib/xine |

Per far considerare un pacchetto a portage come già installato si usa il /etc/portage/profile/package.provided. Comunque secondo me avresti fatto meglio a farti un ebuild di xine-lib cvs.

E come ripeto xine-lib e' gia' installato ma in altro path....ora , se procedo lo stesso dovrei trovarmi con due versioni di xine-lib installate indipendenti l'una dall' altra o sbaglio? Importante per me e' che xine-cvs e xineui rimangano intatti (se no non mi funzia piu' VDR ) |
