helloz, i am lookin to update some packages and i see this:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild U ] gnome-extra/gtkhtml-1.1.8 [1.1.7-r1]
[ebuild UD] net-www/mozilla-1.2.1-r5 [1.3_beta]
[ebuild U ] net-mail/evolution-1.2.3 [1.2.2]

So, what does that D mean? Downgrade? im just curious what is going to happen exactly... I havnt been able to find it in teh portage docs i was able to find... thanks y0!

Yep, downgrade. I guess mozilla 1.3_beta is unstable (~x86) and you're not using ~x86 in make.conf. A simple fix is to inject the version it wants to downgrade to. BTW: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=26640
