Please Help to Install Network Card Driver

ok I have downloaded the driver for my network card but I can't get it to make the module according to the instructions provided in the Readme

In order for anyone to be able to help, you will need to provide some information on your problem.

What network card are you talking about? (post output of 'lspci' from the pciutils package)
What did you download?
What are those instructions?
What error message do you get?
