Can you post an emerge --info so we know what kernel and such you're running?
and, also where did you get the reiser4 patch you're using (namesys or -mm)?

Ok, this is a known problem in -mm6, several people have had it occur, including me. Basically, boot a livecd with reiser4 support (conrad CD or RIP cd or such) and run fsck.reiser4, and run --fix or --rebuild as advised to fix the errors (whether it's 1 or 10000 errors, fsck.reiser4 has never failed me and has ALWAYS fixed the problems :))

After that, upgrade your kernel to 2.6.17-no5 (if you are going to continue no-sources) or downgrade to -mm2 (last known working perfect -mm AFAIK)
