Hallo,
ich bin beim Zusammenstellen der benötigten Software für mein Notebook und benötige
noch eine Alternative für MS Project.
Ich habe schon unter Wind.. mit dem GanttProject gearbeitet, aber das ist nicht im Tree
enthalten. Gibt es unter Gentoo irgendwas ähnliches? Nach Möglichkeit ohne das
eine Installation von Gnome oder KDE erforderlich wird.

wenn du mit ganttproject schon gearbeitet hast (und du es auch nutzen willst), lad es einfach runter, entpack es irgendwo und starte es mit java -jar ganttbliblairgendwas.jar
es ist halt nur eine gepackte jar, deswegen ist eine installation mit ebuild nun wirklich nicht nötig 
achja, ich find es ein wenig fricklig zu bedienen, liegt aber wohl an java...

Tja, da sieht man mal wieder, dass ich noch eine Menge lernen kann
Für so einfach hätte ich das nicht gehalten.
Ich weiß zwar nicht genau, was Du mit fricklig meinst, aber ein paarmal ist mir das Ding auch schon mitten im
schönsten Arbeiten abgestürzt.
Ich versuche es mal mit dem Tip von Bloody_Viking - Danke nochmals und schönes Wochenende!

Mit den Ebuild-Versionen 2.1.1-r1 und 2.2.0 bricht das Mergen leider ab. Im Gentoo-Bugzilla gibt es auch schon entsprechende Bugreports (#117247 und #120122).
