Speedtouch 330 rev 4 firmware doesn't load

Hi

i'm running gentoo, kernel 2.6.13 rev3 and udev ver: 0.70, i followed this tuturial http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/gentoo/index.html but i can't load the firmware, i get the following message:

usbcore: registered new driver speedtch
speedtch 2-2:1.0: no stage 1 firmware found!

depite the fact that the firmware is in the respective directory.
I found the same problem in http://www.mail-archive.com/speedtouch@ml.free.fr/msg07844.html and they found a solution. However i don't know what is the firmware_helper that they talk in http://www.mail-archive.com/speedtouch@ml.free.fr/msg07848.html, need help.

See wiki - it would be good if you could test my new ebuild, which works for me.
