|
|
Hi,
I've installed gentoo with a wired network connection, how do I install a wi-fi connection?
I don't think I need in-depth help, I just need a pointer on where to start.
Thanks
tudor
P.S. Sorry to waste your time with such a dumb question. |

Take a look at the articles at the Gentoo Handbook and Gentoo-Wiki. Post with any problems you have. |

They don't seem to be on the PackageCD, unfortunately. I guess you'd have to download the source using some other box and transfer it to your Gentoo box on a CD/floppy/ethernet connection. |

Do you have a wifi card yet? If not, first of all, take care what you're buying. |

Yes; I have a Z-Board wi-fi card. It works fine on Windows.
How do I transfer the files? I have plenty of cd's and a burner
at my disposal. |
