I'm trying to play DVDs from kmplayer using Xine. This has worked in the past, but I have rebuilt my system from scratch this week. I have the proper symlinks from /dev/hdc to /dev/cdrom and /dev/dvd. I am in the cdrom group. Here's the console output:
Code: |
callback is kmplayer-32214 KMPlayerCallback-0
input.dvd_device=/dev/dvd
play mrl: 'dvd://'
libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.9 for DVD access
libdvdread: Attempting to use device /dev/hda4 mounted on / for CSS authentication
libdvdread: Could not open /dev/hda4 with libdvdcss.
libdvdread: Can't open /dev/hda4 for reading
|
It seems to me that it's looking in the wrong place. Any ideas? DVD playback does work in Mplayer. Thanks.

I had the same problem using Kaffeine. Downgrading to stable version has helped. |
