Ive just got neverwinter nights and what i would like to no is how i install it useing wine,I have not used this much at all, I done a ls on /dev/cdrom then used wine setup.exe but it failed.

Well i did not do anything like that i just emerged it,What needs to be done so it recognise the cdrom?

Portage isn't the best way to install wine, your best off installing off of cvs. If you don't know how to to that, there is directions at www.winehq.com. After you compile that, run winecfg, you will get a nice gui that should be self explanitory.

You don't need wine to play NWN, as Bioware developed a Linux client, you can download it at their website, more info at http://nwn.bioware.com/downloads/linuxclient.html, but you have to register yourself at Bioware (just your e-mail and a few personal data).
