**Solution** http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=723 In some OSes you have to copy the file /etc/localtime to the fax spool's etc directory.
Also the client is supposed to send the times in GMT, according to this bug report (there is no documentation for client programming) and then display the time in local time. I've noticed that most clients don't do this. If you want it to look normal, the server has to be in GMT (if this is possible)

I emerged and am using HylaFax and there is one problem I am having and I was hoping someone could answer it.
My client workstation is Windows and the time zone is +200 GMT.
My server is Gentoo and the time zone is IST (also +200 GMT)

When the client computer schedules something it changes it adds 2 hours to it, so if I schedule something for 16:00 it shows 18:00 in all the client applications that I have checked.
From all my testing I have found that if I want it to fax at 16:00 I have to schedule it for 12:00 because the server thinks it is on GMT, so at 4:00 it thinks it is 2:00 and if I have to send it for 12 so it thinks it is 2 and will send it at 4.

Does anyone know which config file I am missing to tell it what's what.
