|
|
Hi all... I want to set up my e-mail so I can read it both from pine and thunderbird. Is it possible? I think it is, and shouldn't be too hard...
I was using only thunderbird before and I reformatted my drive. I backed up my old mail...
I configured pine to read that folder, and all my previous e-mails display properly, but that doesn't allow me to download new mail.
If I specify my inbox-path as {mailserver/pop3/user=user}INBOX I can read the new mail on my server, but I can't read my backed up mail?
For my setup is it necessary to setup fetchmail and a MDA for it to work? |

If this is still an issue, you can setup multiple inboxes in Pine by enabling the feature enable-incoming-folders. This should not be necessary in your case, though, as it should be enough to just add your archived folder from the default folder collection list. _________________ Please read our FAQ Forum, it answers many of your questions.
