I'm designing a small database for the ACM chapter here on campus and want the site to only be open to ACM members. These members automatically have accounts on the ACM server machine where the database will be hosted. I want to use HTTP Auth in PHP to log users in and out, based on their username and password on the machine itself. Is it possible to check a PHP derived uname/pass against the machine's unames and passes? _________________ Bored and posting on the forums... life is rough. |
