I had that problem also. I opted for the easy way: uninstall eix.
I think that this has happened in one of the portage version bumps. Lately there has been some, but I cant be sure if the layout of the output broke with 2.1 or in any of the minor previous releases. Dont know. Anyway, it is not strange, portage is evolving quickly and eix relies highly in portage, so any change in the portage layout affects also to eix. I also tried to upgrade to the unstable eix, but to no avail. |
