Anche a me capita un errore simile quando cerco di emergere kde.
Rispetto al altro caso, io uso un kernel 2.6.15-gentoo-r5 creato con genkernel e non mi sembra che possa essere un errore di versione troppo vecchia, pero penso che l'errore sia dovuto per la dipendenza arts, puo essere?
Ho anche provato a togliere la USE pero mi appare sempre questo errore, come se avesse intaccato qualcosa nella struttura del sistema in modo che mi dia sempre questo errore.
Attendo un opinione dagli esperti :lol:

allora: nel caso specifico kdenetwork con arts ha poco a che vedere anzi nulla,
per quanto riguarda il consiglio che ho dato, usare:
Code:
emerge -uDN nomepacchetto|world|system

è sempre buona cosa in tal modo infatti si mantiene sempre
il sistema consistente durante gli aggiornamenti
(ok, talvolta qualcosa va messa a posto con revdep-rebuild, ma questo è un altro discorso)

quindi se adesso sono saltate fuori delle atre dipendenze (hal,kernel,ecc)
sarebbe buona cosa soddisfarle

è colpa mia: quel simbolo | era un OR, un esempio degli argomenti che è possibile
passare ad emerge, quindi:

emerge -uDN kdenetwork

oppure

Io una controllatina a cosa dovrebbe essere aggiornato la farei

Senza la flag hal kdenetwork non dovrebbe richiedere tale pacchetto.

problemi è esagerato, ma di sicuro hai rinunciato ad alcune features cosi
