Hi ,
in the XGL HOWTO it only mentions the Gnome and XFCE desktops. is it possible to use XGL with fluxbox for example ? |

I believe it's possible but you won't be able to use compiz since it's also a WM, you will have to use glxcompr |

what is glxcompr? google has no records about it. btw I can run xgl+fluxbox without any particoular workaround, even if it is quite slow, but maybe this depends on hardware.. (ati radeon mobility 9700) |

thank you for your fast reply. ehm..if I use compiz I cannot use fluxbox..so I'm gonna look for Glxcompmgr. and..yes, im already using the latest ati-drivers |
