I'm a little bit new to Linux and the guy teaching me it says this is one of the best distros. He's helping me thru the installation, but we've come across a problem. My mobo is an asus P5SD2-X and the S-ATA drives cannot be detected by Gentoo. Also Fedora Core 4 installer doesn't see them as well. I don't have a floppy drive so any kernel modules will be going onto a USB drive and dealt with from there. Thanks. |

All I have is the DVD image, not sure. Is there a way to check? |
