Hi
I am getting the below error when I try to emerge "sys-libs/timezone-data":
Code: |
>>> Test phase [not enabled]: sys-libs/timezone-data-2006b
>>> Install timezone-data-2006b into /var/tmp/portage/timezone-data-2006b/image/ category sys-libs
./zic -y ./yearistype -d /var/tmp/portage/timezone-data-2006b/image//usr/share/ zoneinfo -L /dev/null africa antarctica asia australasia europe northamerica sou thamerica pacificnew etcetera factory backward systemv solar87 solar88 solar89
./zic: wild compilation-time specification of zic_t
make: *** [posix_only] Error 1
!!! ERROR: sys-libs/timezone-data-2006b failed.
!!! Function src_install, Line 28, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)

I couldnt find anywhere a solution for that and it is preventing me from doing a full system update.
This package is a dependency for glibc.
Thanks in advance.

there is something about that in bugzilla...
BTW, edit the ebuild, change 64 to 32, then digest the ebuild and it should work
you should look in the bugreport, (or even in this forum...)
