My system started creating mountpoints for USB devices dynamically a couple of weeks ago. It was hella awesome with fstab entry and all that. I don't even know what did that, I suppose some new udev version with a smarter default ruleset or whatever.
Thing is, it stopped again doing that a couple days ago. And since I don't know where that behaviour came from in the first place, I dunno how to bring it back. It really bugs me, too, because it was awesome to have something just work. I mean, I know how to have udev do that for a given device, walk the device chain with udevinfo and all that, but it was good how it worked. Anyone know what happened there? _________________ If you loved me, you'd all kill yourselves today.
