Salve,
Ieri sera ho lanciato ... emerge kde-meta
dopo circa 3 ore aveva fatto solo 21 passaggi di 349, stamani mi sveglio e lo trovo ancora a frullare.
volevo chiedere se e' un problema della mia macchina o e' normale ?
con un p4 1,7 e 512 mb quanto tempo dovrebe metterci ?

Bhe se hai installato tutto kde e' normale se fosse solo kdebase invece qualcosa probabilmente non era giusto

24 mi sembrano un tempo veramente alto....  era la compilazione del "solo" (si fa per dire ) kde, oppure comprendeva anche la compilazione di X e altre dipendenze? |

Se hai dato solo ci credo che ci vuole tutto quel tempo, io avrei installato solo kde-base/kdebase-startkde e poi aggiunto tutto il resto.

Questo ci mette ancora di piu' di un emerge kde, visto che ad ogni programma fa il config. Pro che una volta installato poi gli aggiornamenti saranno piu' veloci che con i pacchetti monolitici perche' si compileranno solo realemnete i programmi che hanno bisogno dell'update

| io con compilazione in cache e su 1.7 centrino in parallelo con un 1Ghz in lan c'ho messo 45min(kdebase) |

non era meglio l'installazione dei pacchetti splittati di kde?... ci impiegavi molto ma molto meno...
