Hi there,
did I miss something in the install handbooks(2005.1 Gentoo Handbooks, x86, & amd64), between chapter 6 and 7 there was a bit about the bootstraping of the system...
Where did it go ?

The default and only "official" install is a stage3 so the old stage1 and stage 2 bootstrapping sections are out of the main guide. I believe they got moved to another document called Stage1 or 2 install. _________________ If you get your problem solved put a [SOLVED] in the title!

Fast world we live in.... As i though the only "real" way to install gentoo was Stage 1

Nope, they were moved to the Gentoo FAQ. |
