I get an error when emerging libart_lgpl:
It downloads, unpacks, then
"tar: libart_lgpl-2.3.14/Makefile.in: time stamp 2003-08-08 is 65003 s in the future
tar: libart_lgpl-2.3.14/stamp-h.in: time stamp 2003-08-08 is ......" about 10 times, then
"Source unpacked.
[...]
checking wether build environment is sane... configure: error: newly created file is older than distributed files!
Check your system clock
!!!ERROR: media-libs/libart_lgpl-2.3.14 failed
!!!Function econf, Line 324, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed"
and that's it! Redownloading the file doesn't fix it.
I also can't update binutils, because configure starts over and over again (I waited about 30min), telling me something's wrong with the date in future.
This all started when I set my time back 4 month in Windows. But windows date is back normal now, Bios also, and linux "date" command shows the correct date/time.
Can anyone help me? |

This should be a date problem, are you sure you have a correct date/time/localzone setting? _________________ GIT d- s:+>: a-- C+++ UBS+++ P++ L+++

Yes, "date" reports the correct date/time, and I have a symlink to my timezone (CET, GMT+1).
This must have something to do that I've set the time 3 months back and then to normal again... |

Did you try to set the date and time again with date? |

Yes I did.
I once saw a command to set all files and folders to the current date... something like "find . | touch" but I can't remember how this worked. |

To get this one here solved.
Either
find . | touch
or
find . -exec touch {} \; _________________ Unix is simple. It just takes a genius to understand its simplicity. |
