[solved][2006.0] install hardware detection problems

hi,
I have tried today the 2006.0 live cd, but I have been a bit disappointed by hardware problems. No network adapter detected, no sound card detected, no graphic card detected. Well that's not pretty good

So I have tried to do a lspci... and no result Not even an error line lspci --xxxvv ... nothing....

I don't even have /dev/pci and /proc/bus/pci/devices is empty.

Well, it's been some time since my last linux distro install, but I don't remember getting things like that.

is that supposed to be normal ? any suggestions ?

it was just a problem with the acpi
gentoo acpi=off

that's working !
