I am trying to install gentoo on an A21M thinkpad using the 2006.0 install CD.
No luck with my network adapter.
When I look in the output of dmesg I see:
Quote: |
e100: Intel(R) PRO/100 Network Driver, 3.4.14-k4-NAPI
...
e100: 0000:00:03.0: e100_eeprom_load : EEPROM corrupted
e100: probe of 0000:00:03.0 failed with error -11 |
More info: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/30666
Any ideas on how to get gentoo installed in the meanwhile? |

What kernel are us using now?
Try updating your kernel, I am using 2.6.27-gentoo-r4 and I had that problem with an earlier 2.6.27 kernel.
EDIT: I didn't realize how old this thread was. When I solved my problem I went looking for others with it. _________________ emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "moo" |
