i tried now several time to install media-plugins/xmms-scrobbler

Code:

checking for mb_GetVersion in -lmusicbrainz... no
*
*  The MusicBrainz client library needs to be installed
*  to build this plugin. Please download the library from
*  http://www.musicbrainz.org/download
*
configure: error: "Cannot build. Stop."

!!! Please attach the config.log to your bug report:
!!! /var/tmp/portage/xmms-scrobbler-0.3.6/work/xmms-scrobbler-0.3.6/config.log

!!! ERROR: media-plugins/xmms-scrobbler-0.3.6 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 495, Exitcode 0
!!! econf failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

i installed the libs into /usr/local
and added it to my ld.so.conf
Code:
# ld.so.conf autogenerated by env-update; make all changes to
# contents of /etc/env.d directory
/usr/local/lib
/usr/lib/opengl/ati/lib
/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/lib
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.5
/usr/lib/nspr
/usr/lib/nss
/usr/lib/mozilla
/usr/lib
/usr/lib/openmotif-2.2
/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03/jre/lib/i386/
/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03/jre/lib/i386/native_threads/
/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03/jre/lib/i386/client/
/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.03/jre/lib/i386/server/
/usr/qt/3/lib
/usr/kde/3.4/lib
/usr/lib/speech-tools/lib
/usr/games/lib
/usr/lib/libstdc++-v3/
/usr/local/libmusicbrainz-2.1.2/lib/

/etc/ld.so.conf lines 1-21/21 (END)

i also tried
Code:
export LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/libmusicbrainz-2.1.2/lib/

befor i started to emerge.

das anyone has a clue for me to work around that

Why is your musicbrainz installed in /usr/local/lib? Did you install it manually instead of letting the xmms-scrobbler ebuild pull it in as a dependency? If so, uninstall the version you built manually and let portage handle building it for you. If not, I guess the musicbrainz ebuild needs to have a bug filed against it.

Post the error when trying to emerge musicbrainz then, and/or file a bug against it at bugs.gentoo.org. In the mean time, if you have to build it manually, you could try configuring it to install into /usr/lib instead of /usr/local/lib. I'm guessing the the xmms-scrobbler ebuild is looking for it there.
