Hi people,

I start my PC via /proc/acpi/alarm (echo "2006-03-09 05:45:30" >/proc/acpi/alarm).
So my PC wake me up!!!
In this file i write the time to start up my computer, to use it as an recorder.

For some days I have start a backup from my system (emerge -uva system).
I didn't change the kernel. I use the gentoo-sources-2.6.12.
After the Reboot the update has change from devfs to udev.
So must change zum config files. But the /proc/acpi/alarm is lost.

Have any people an idea why this file is going lost?

Greating Joerg
