what is the right install here?

ok i have a
AMD XP 2200
120G HD nothing on it
512 MB RAM

ok i have DL every cd i can get for gentoo the only one i have had go anywhere was the amd 64 and it tells me

your CPU does not support long mode. use a 32 bit dis.

so i DL the install-ppc-universal-2006.0.iso and got no where anyone have a dl of gentoo that will work on my system?

you haven't got a ppc-architecture..you'll need an x86-install-cd, I think..

Hey man, if your AMD is 32 bit, you should be using the x86 installs. It is not PowerPC (PPC) and not 64 bit.

Read that first before DL and/or install.
