Hello
i bought an external DVD-RW toaster capeable of Firewire and USB1/2
i want to have all features on this device
DMA, packagewriting , aso
i read in the kernel-changelogs that 2.6.16 i able to handle FirewireDevices better now
who already succeeded in setup up an external DVD-RW/CDRW toaster for cdrecord (proDVD) fullfeatured on gentoo ?
what has to be done ? please share your wisdom

changes from external to internal since there are no solutions yet .. sbp2 over firewire is still not able to export full device.infos .. lets wait for the future
running over pata everthing fine again
