ception received: BootloaderError :FATAL: _configure_grub:

I was installing using the GTK+ installer - 1st try I lost my home partition - the superblock (and all superblock backups) were all wrong - wrong magic numer - my own fault I should have backed everything up - eventually we will all learn!

Second try and I removed all partitions and let the installer decide the opartition table.etc.

Everything seamed to be OK untill the installer was installiong grub - I got the following error:

Exception received:
BootloaderError :FATAL: _configure_grub: Error making the new device map.
Please submit a bug report (after searching to make sure it's not a known issue and verifying you didn't do something stupid) with the contents of /var/log/install.log and /tmp/installprofile.xml and the version of the installer you used


The last bit of the install.log was:
