Well, it turns out that my monitor can support 1280x960 resolution(I <3 Widescreen), but for some reasons, a fglrxconfig won't detect it during my ocnfiguration. I was wondering if there was a way that I could manually edit my Xorg.conf and add in my 1280x960 resolution to it, I have had no luck autodetecting my supported resolutions. Any help? _________________ Registered Linux User #387568

Varean,
X is only preprogrammed with the VESA standard 4:3 resolutions. It can do any arbitary resolution you like but you need to make a modeline to tell it how.
Read man xorg.conf to find out about modelines and use a web based modeline caculator to get one to suit you.
Having defined your modeline, you can call it into use (by its Identifier) in the modes statement(s) in your Screen section. _________________ Regards,
