Hi anyone,

I am trying to connect using a rt2500 chipped pcmcia wirless network card (actually MSI CB54G2) on a toshiba Satellite 4200 (yenta-bridge) - gentoo-sources-1.6.14. Having emerged pcmciautils and rt2500 (beta driver) I managed to raise ra0 once - but this then caused a kernel lock-up. Well everything locked. Since then the last message in DMESG or /var/log/messages is something like
'PCI interrupt for device 00:006:00 etc disabled. '
There is obviously no ra0 to work on then.

any ideas where to go from here?

cheers
