I have a strange problem with my freshly emerged Rhythmbox-0.9.3.1. When I start it as user, it exits after displaying for a brief instant the first configuration screen. If I start it as root thou, it works normally. I tried to re-emerge it without the dbus USE flag but to no avail. Any suggestions? |

I also tried to debug with gdb (the first time in my life! ) and I got this message:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 16384 (LWP 5548)]
0xb747c7e5 in dbus_connection_remove_filter () from /usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.1
But as root it says nothing...
Is there any dbus configuration file to play with? |

Try 'rc-update add dbus default'. _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |

Thanks for your help, but dbus is already in the default rc. I tried to compile directly from source and it works... I guess I'll have to wait for a new version in portage! |
